Guidance: COVID-19

(Original Date: March 17, 2020 / Reviewed/Updated May 12, 2021)

On a temporary basis, we are postponing our in-person Midweek/Wednesday Night Bible Study and Sunday worship services, until further notice.

Our Elders continue to consult with Health Officials regarding recommendations and also to determine a plan of action for our return to Live/In-Person Fellowship and Worship Services, at the appropriate time.

Please continue to stay fervent in prayer and studious in God's Word during this time.

Considerations for Communities of Faith

COVID-19 Cases are Extremely High. Avoid Events and Gatherings

COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are extremely high across the United States. To decrease your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19, CDC recommends that you do not gather with people who do not live with you at this time. Attending events and gatherings increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19. Stay home to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.

"Guidance as of 2/19/2021"

Moving forward, people should continue to exercise caution while COVID-19 remains present in Tennessee. To minister to vulnerable populations while also protecting those populations and continuing our state’s progress to contain COVID-19, faith communities are strongly encouraged to continue offering online services and other creative methods of worship and ministry. Faith communities should conduct as many activities as possible remotely and should follow the recommendations in this guidance when deciding to begin gathering in person once again.
